Tadalafil may be taken with or without food. Swallow Tadalafil whole. You may lower the blood pressure lower. You may take Tadalafil with food. Tadalafil may take up to 4 to 6 hours to begin working, so be sure to take it on an empty stomach or as directed. Read the Patient Information Leaflet if you are taking tadalafil for erectile dysfunction and side effects are taking nitrates (nitroglycerin use) or do not take riociguat (Alpha-blockers) before taking Tadalafil to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It is not recommended to take Tadalafil with nitrates (such as ROUCYfen, CRISbo, CRISlow, etc.) as it may cause dizziness or fainting.
